PSI announces "Abaci"
business solutions at Software Solutions 2001

Profit Solutions International Inc., the Mississauga-based developer of enterprise resource planning solutions, has announced an expanded version of its business software that is ready for the Web "right of the box." The new package will be marketed as "Abaci Business Solutions" and will offer a complete foundation for integrated ERP, executive information and e-commerce applications. The first public demonstration of Abaci took place at Software Solutions 2001, in Toronto, March 27/28.

Abaci ("a-ba-see") builds on the same core software modules as other PSI solutions currently used by manufacturers throughout central Ontario, and adds networking capabilities to enable secure, real-time access to selected services over the Internet or wide-area networks.
